ALESSIO MISERI - Production Supervisor | Audio Engineer
Alessio works at amp as our Production Supervisor, coordinating all phases of production, ensuring high quality from project to project. With a Master's Degree in Sound Engineering from Tor Vergata University in Rome, he has vast experience and knowledge in music production, sound design and post-production processes - but also possesses outstanding cooking skills! After some time acclimating to the city, he has conquered Munich with the support of a local techno label and friends. Bruh.
ALEXANDRA NAMYSLOWSKI - Communication and Press Editor-in-Chief
Alexandra is our Consultant – Editor in Chief for soundasyouare, supporting all of amp's Marketing and PR activities. She is currently living in Turku, Finland, doing a Double-Degree Masters in “Intercultural Advertising”, and acting as amp's very own “AMPassador".
CHRISTOPH ANZENBACHER - Senior Sound Branding Consultant Research Musicology
As a consultant at amp, Christoph provides comprehensive advice and support: from workshops and concept design, to the final implementation of sound elements. When he is not in a workshop, he is pulling strings in the background, composing customized soundscapes for audible brand spaces. Dedicated to multiple research projects, he is our backer when it comes to the science behind the emotional and physiological impact of sound. Christoph is the author of a major Audio Logo book (in German): HERE ON AMAZON.
CLEMENS FACHINGER - Account Director Switzerland
After more than ten years in Marketing and A&R for Warner Music and UniversalMusic in Germany, Clemens moved to Switzerland to work as a Consultant and Project Manager for Digital/Mobile, developing innovative Marketing projects for clients like Victorinox, Kraft Foods/Mondelez, IKEA and Red Bull. He joined amp to combine his passion for music and his qualities in Business Development with a vast network not only in Switzerland. He constantly adds records from a wide range of styles to his large vinyl collection, and tests his capacity for suffering as a fan of the Werder Bremen football team. Just recently he reanimated one of his boyhood dreams by buying a Les Paul Goldtop, even though he cannot play it properly. Yet.
DAVE MASOTTI - Music Editor | Photographer
Dave's passionate relationship with music began when he stole rock’n roll and classical records from his parents as a kid, listening to them avidly in his bedroom. Already in love with discovering new things, he learned to sing and play the guitar, performing with various bands. He’s a passionate reader and really loves design, cinema and fashion; forms of expression that influence him everyday. Based in Milan, Dave works as a Music Editor, DJ and photographer.
DIEGO SANTIN - Sound Branding Consultant | Project Manager
Diego is a Sound Branding Consultant at amp, and is currently living in Milan, acting as amp's very own Italian “AMPassador". He developed his affinity for music (particularly DJing) in his teenage years. Inspired by other musicians, contemporary arts and his travels, Diego is also focusing on his own EMP project “THEOREM". In the meantime, however, he is attracted to soundscape-design and all issues related to sound installation.
KAROLINA NAMYSLOWSKI - Creative Music Editor & Music Curator
Karolina has worked for amp as a sound branding consultant and music editor for more than three years. She studied musicology and music informatics at the University of Music in Karlsruhe, and cultural studies at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Given her interdisciplinary academic background, Karolina is involved in all of amp's creative processes, especially when it comes to amp’s retail clients all over the world. Karolina also has a soft spot for Oasis and cats.
LARS SCHALKWIJK - Strategist
Coming from a background in the Cognitive Sciences, Lars is especially interested in the different ways sound can influence people on a cognitive- and emotional level. During his master’s degree in Sound and Music Computing, he developed an expertise in the use of speech and functional sounds to improve the user-experience of auditory interfaces.
His personal passion for music sparked at a young age when learning the piano, included two wild off-beat-years in a ska band and evolved into songwriting and singing leading to several Indie-band formations.
MICHELE ARNESE - Global Chief Executive Officer & Founder | Head of Creativity & Strategy
Designed in Italy, assembled in Germany and delivered everywhere. Michele is co-founder and co-owner of amp. As creative director, he is responsible for putting together the pieces of the puzzle. Getting his inspiration from brands, trends, music, art, fashion, design, food and everything in the air, he is incurably curious and a networker. He's also the mastermind behind amp's archetype-based music profiler and he's one of the smartest guys in this industry. Open to a lot of styles and genres (almost all of them) Michele has played music since his childhood days. His first record? The Beatles, White Album. His weakness? Venus Clams (vongole) ... In fact, where will you find him when he's not working? Probably cooking spaghetti alle vongole, with a glass of italian white wine, listening to Roy Ayers.
PATRICK KATTOURA - Creative & Artist Services
Patrick is a passionate lifelong musician. He has played trumpet for 15 years and percussion for 8 years. He is also a capable music editor and an enthusiastic composer/producer. In the spring of 2015, Patrick received his Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, New York. In parallel with his studies, Patrick is co-founder, percussionist and songwriter in a three-piece alternative rock band - Dope Mosely. His interdisciplinary work at amp seamlessly combines many of his academic and musical skills, as well as his personal areas of interest and his multicultural background - Patrick is a U.S. citizen who was raised in Munich, Germany.
PETR E.C. RICE - Sound Designer
Petr is obsessed with “The Why”. His philosophical studies make him slightly messy, self-deprecating and Cartesian, but wrapping abstract concepts together is always enlightening. We keep him on the ground and focussed; but like to see him find the limits. His American optimism and his German methodology have made him almost fun to be around.
ULI REESE - Global Chief Marketing Officer
Uli joined amp as Global Chief Marketing Officer. Starting his career as a composer and orchestrator in Hollywood, Uli worked on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and Disney’s "Goof Troop" television series. The former Department Chair of Film Music and Sound Design at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, is considered one of the world's foremost experts on sound branding. From Cannes Lions to Emmys, he has won just about every industry award for his work. He frequently presents at international festivals and conferences such as Cannes Lions (2014/2015/2016/2017), ADC, and Eurobest. In 2015, Uli published “101 Great Minds on Music, Brands and Behavior.” A project unprecedented in its scope, the book features interviews with more than 100 of the most successful leaders in the creative industry and investigates agency perspectives on music in brand communication.
